These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of the Authenticator mobile application, operated in connection with https://insutora.dev.

By downloading, installing, or using this application we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Authenticator if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements: "Client", "You" and "Your" refers to you, the person using this application and compliant to the Company's terms and conditions. "The Company", "Ourselves", "We", "Our" and "Us", refers to our Company. "Party", "Parties", or "Us", refers to both the Client and ourselves.

The Service

Authenticator is a security application that provides:

• Generation of time-based one-time passwords (TOTP) for two-factor authentication;
• A password manager for storing logins, credit cards, notes, and identity documents locally on your device;
• Optional encrypted backup and restore of your data to your own Google Drive account;
• App protection with a master password.

The Service is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

Your Responsibilities

By using Authenticator, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are responsible for your master password. Your data is encrypted with keys derived on your device. If you forget your master password, we have no ability to recover or reset it, and your data may be permanently inaccessible.
• You are responsible for maintaining backups. If you uninstall the application or lose your device without having enabled backup, your stored data (including 2FA secret keys) will be permanently lost. Losing 2FA secret keys may lock you out of your third-party accounts.
• You are responsible for your third-party accounts. We are not affiliated with the services you protect with two-factor authentication. Any issue with accessing those services must be resolved with the respective service provider.
• You will not use the application for any unlawful purpose, or to store data that you do not have the right to store.

License

Unless otherwise stated, Authenticator and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material in the Authenticator application. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may use the application for your own personal, non-commercial use subject to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

You must not:

• Republish, sell, rent, or sub-license material from Authenticator;
• Reproduce, duplicate, or copy material from Authenticator;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application, except to the extent permitted by applicable law;
• Redistribute content from Authenticator.

This Agreement shall begin on the date you first use the application.

Third-Party Services

The application integrates optional third-party services, including Google Sign-In and Google Drive for the backup feature, and Google Firebase for analytics and crash reporting. Your use of these services is also subject to the respective third party's terms of service and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of third-party services.

Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all representations, warranties and conditions relating to our application and the use of this application. Nothing in this disclaimer will:

• limit or exclude our or your liability for death or personal injury;
• limit or exclude our or your liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
• limit any of our or your liabilities in any way that is not permitted under applicable law; or
• exclude any of our or your liabilities that may not be excluded under applicable law.

The limitations and prohibitions of liability set in this Section and elsewhere in this disclaimer: (a) are subject to the preceding paragraph; and (b) govern all liabilities arising under the disclaimer, including liabilities arising in contract, in tort and for breach of statutory duty.

In particular, we shall not be liable for any loss of data, loss of access to third-party accounts, or any damage resulting from a forgotten master password, a lost device, a failed backup or restore, or the unavailability of third-party services.

As long as the application and the information and services in the application are provided free of charge, we will not be liable for any loss or damage of any nature.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. By continuing to use the application after changes are posted, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
